Welcome to VenusFortress. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when using our mobile and web platforms.
We protect your data with encryption, secure authentication, and storage best practices. While we use top-tier security, no system is entirely invulnerable.
We use Google Play for subscription management. Their terms and privacy policies apply to those transactions. We recommend reviewing them for more information.
We store your data only as long as necessary for security, legal, and operational purposes. Upon account deletion, data is purged within 30 days.
This policy may be updated occasionally. We’ll notify you via the app or email if critical changes are made.
Have questions? Reach out to us at info@venusfortress.com. We’ll respond as soon as possible.
VenusFortress may request elevated permissions such as Device Administrator or Device Owner privileges to enable enterprise-grade security features. These include locking the device, preventing unauthorized uninstalls, enforcing screen security, and enabling kiosk mode.
These permissions are granted manually by the user and can be revoked anytime through system settings. The app provides clear instructions and purpose-based disclosures when requesting these permissions.
To protect against unauthorized removal, VenusFortress may request permissions that restrict uninstall actions. This is solely for security purposes and does not override system-level settings. Users are notified when such restrictions are enabled.
VenusFortress may request permission to remotely activate your device’s camera or microphone in response to specific anti-theft commands (e.g., when a remote capture is triggered due to suspicious access). These features are used solely to help the rightful owner collect evidence in case of device theft or misuse.
This functionality only activates after you explicitly grant consent through the app interface, and the captured media is encrypted and securely stored. Users are notified when such actions are triggered, and this feature can be disabled in the app settings.
VenusFortress requires access to your location in the background to enable real-time tracking, theft protection, and geofencing features, even when the app is not actively open. These features ensure that your device remains secure at all times, especially during unauthorized movement or theft scenarios.
Before any location data is collected, you will be shown a dedicated in-app disclosure explaining why background location is necessary. You must actively provide consent by tapping "Allow" before the system permission request is triggered. This ensures you remain fully informed and in control.
While background location is enabled, a persistent notification will remain visible, indicating that VenusFortress is protecting your device. You may disable this permission at any time via your device’s app settings.
VenusFortress is designed to auto-launch upon device reboot to maintain continuous protection. This behavior is disclosed during setup and can be adjusted in the app's settings.
VenusFortress may request biometric authentication (fingerprint or face unlock) to secure access to sensitive features or to prevent unauthorized uninstalls.
We adhere to applicable data protection regulations including GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and UAE cybersecurity standards. You may exercise your rights based on your jurisdiction.
All in-app purchases and subscriptions are handled through Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store payment data on our servers.
VenusFortress may require permission to access local storage to save encrypted media files (photos, videos, audio) captured during security events. Files are not shared externally.
All sensitive permissions requested by VenusFortress — including access to location, camera, microphone, storage, and device admin — are preceded by clear, in-app explanations. No permission is requested without the user first being shown a prominent disclosure and explicitly choosing to proceed. Runtime permissions are granted via standard Android dialogs, and users may revoke them at any time via device settings.
